A range of Mobility Excellence Awards are available to students undertaking overseas study as part of their undergraduate or graduate coursework course. 

Scholarships include:

  • The Alan Gilbert Mobility Scholarship
  • Wayne and Marion Patten Mobility Scholarship
  • Jamakepe Travelling Scholarship

Mobility Excellence Awards are awarded on academic merit, the personal qualities of the applicants, including demonstrated leadership capacity, public-spirited approach, community engagement, and capacity to benefit from an overseas study experience and the specific purpose of each scholarship.You are required to submit a personal statement (max 500 words) addressing this criteria as part of your application.

Travel restrictions

Global student travel may be limited due to COVID-19 travel restrictions.

Mobility grant payments may be held until travel is permitted to the nominated destination country.
